SEATTLE,WA. Dec. 7, 2009 - As the economy continues to lag, small business owners are looking for unique ways to hasten a healthy holiday shopping season. One small business owner in Greenlake has hit upon a resourceful way to offer timid holiday shoppers more for their money. Scott Smith of Skinlogic Skin Center has pulled together neighborhood businesses to create a "Swag Bag . to Keep Greenlake Growing," full of goodies from seven Greenlake neighborhood businesses. Participating businesses include Belle Marie Salon, Blu Water Bistro, Duke's Chowder House, Revolutions Bakery & Expresso, Mona's Bistro and Lounge, Turnpike Pizza, Yogalife and Skinlogic Skin Center. Each small business donated gifts for the Swag Bag which is valued at $125.
"We want to encourage folks to shop locally and support small businesses," says Smith "and the Swag Bag offers an easy way to do that while also increasing the value of their dollar."
