Press Release Summary = Petticoats are back and are the buzz word for the coming seasons fashion collections.

Press Release Body = The spring 2004 and Fall 2003 fashion seasons have seen a return of petticoats in the form of a fifties revival, but this season petticoats
are the designers "must have" accessory. From a little tulle showing beneath the hem of a skirt to layers of chiffon filling out skirts to almost ridiculous proportions. The feminine look is back with swishing skirts and all the glamour of lost era. It appears the feminine look is back to stay. Skirts of all styles are being filled out with petticoats in chiffon, organdy and tulle.

Every designer seems to have a different take, from short flirty skirts filled out almost horizontally from the waist tutu like to long layered creations that would be
at home in "Gone with the Wind". The more retail focused collections feature the fifties style skirt or dress tapering out from the waist giving the accentuated waistline so common in that decade.

The petticoat had faded into obscurity, worn only music videas or at weddings. After a brief appearance in the 80's as a fashion accessory of the young avante garde it became a cult item. Worn by punk or goth princesses with attitude and torn tights. Never quite disappearing the petticoat was removed from the UK retail price index in 2001, though how it remained in this list until then in itself is suprising.

The catwalk look is not easily transferred to the high street and most retailers have 50's style skirts with a little net attached to the hem to mimic the designers
collections.

Petticoatdreams is unique in offering petticoats in a number of styles, which can be worn with or without a skirt depending on the desired "look". Chiffon, organdie to sparkly organza, over one hundred styles from the short sexy petticoat to longer bridal or formal styles.
