DirectRooms.com reveals that executives and suppliers from the retail industry will be making their way to Birmingham for a collection of key trade events occurring in the city from February.
The National Exhibition Center (NEC) will be hosting five trade shows, each of which will run between 27th February to 1st March 2011, and visitors set to attend are coming from a number of related specialist retail sectors.
Attendees can visit each of the shows and forecourt owners will be heading to the International Forecourt and Fuel Equipment Show which features fuel dispensing systems and car care equipment.
Visitors from the convenience store sector are due to meet for the Convenience Retailing Show (CRS) which runs in conjunction with Café. Both events will be highlighting new innovations to the market such as merchandising displays and the latest foods. Exhibitors will offer visitors the chance to sample many new items including freshly baked goods, sandwiches and confectionary.
The Food and Drink Logistics Show and the Off Licence Show are two other events attracting core members from each industry. Executives will be staying in a hotel in Birmingham to hear the current innovations used in off licences and the ways goods can be distributed when readily available supplies are a key issue.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: “All of the shows will attract industry members and many of which will be coming from overseas to the international events. Hotels in the city will be at a premium so attendees will need to confirm rooms online well in advance of their travel dates.”
