DirectRooms.com reports that an exhibition taking place in Edinburgh will be showing people how to add thousands of pounds to the value of their house by giving advice on a variety of home improvement techniques.
Scottish Home Improvement and Self Build Show 2011 is going to explain in detail how people can create a dream home and how to add a personal touch when carrying out some of the building work. The event aims to cover all areas of home improvement, whether it’s a smaller job of building an extension or converting a garage, to more large scale projects. If people want to build a house from the ground up there’ll be advice on how to do it and the methods of sticking within a budget to ensure builds are as cost effective as possible.
Featuring at the event will also be thousands of displays of products and services for interiors and exteriors and attendees can view existing architect drawn plans and designs for renovation to help in deciding what’s right for them.
The expo is running in conjunction with National Home and Design Show on 30th April and 1st May 2011 at the Royal Highland Centre. The opportunity to attend two shows in one is going to lead to significantly more people booking into an Edinburgh hotel over those dates.
Lek Boonlert, marketing head at DirectRooms.com commented: “With two shows, finding available hotels is going to be difficult so people will need to book early to avoid disappointment.”
