Britain's biggest exhibition for boating enthusiasts approaching its 55 th year

Kids can ‘go free' at the forthcoming London Boat Show, being held at the ExCel Centre in Royal Victoria Dock, January 6-15. On top of which London's cheap hotels website LondonTown.com have announced that they will be offering selected double rooms at discount rates close to and for the duration of the Boat Show. It will be the 55 th annual show dedicated to lovers of boats and water activities.

More than 500 exhibitors are expected to showcase their water crafts, ranging from 1.4 metre sailing dinghies to 37 metre yachts. The two 32,500 square metre halls that comprise the ExCel Centre are the only exhibition space in the capital to open onto the water, allowing huge vessels to become part of the show.

Major displays include historic ships and some of the biggest exhibitor boats in production. Additionally, the London Boat Show features a 70m x 24m Watersports Action Pool, with kayaking, windsurfing, wakeboarding and other watersports available for thrill-seeking visitors – all free of charge.

One of the most attractive deals on offer from LondonTown.com is a double room at the four-star Crowne Plaza London Docklands. From only 64 pounds per night, visitors to the London Boat Show can stay in relative luxury, just 6 minutes walk from the ExCel Centre. The special nightly rate lasts for the duration of the ten day event, and is an 84% discount from the standard price.

Just 12 minutes walk from the London Boat Show, the Ramada Hotel is offering a 68% discount when you book through LondonTown.com. From 74 pounds per night, double rooms are available in this idyllic waterfront setting in the heart of the docklands.
