Former Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt is among the celebrities confirmed to perform at MOVE IT, the UK's biggest dance event where dance in all its guises – from Bollywood to ballroom, ballet to hip hop – is represented through live performances, lessons, workshops and discussions.

As many as 20,000 dance enthusiasts are expected to come to London's Olympia for MOVE IT from 9th to 11th March 2012, and for those travelling outside London the website LondonTown.com offers a comprehensive list of places to stay including London hotels happy to take group bookings and offering accommodation to suit all budgets.

MOVE IT gives dancers, whether students or established professionals, the opportunity to watch performances, take classes, shop for dancewear and meet experts all in one place. The show also gives visitors the chance to meet celebrities and get insights into the dance industry from dancing stars, professionals and experts.

Luke Sheppard and Lotte Wakeham, Associate Directors of the current hit, Matilda the Musical, will be among the celebrities appearing on the Big Dance interview sofa to talk about the process behind creating a new stage show. Further interviews with the artistic team of the English National Ballet School will reveal their experiences of the audition process, and current students talk about what it's like studying at the school. The co-founders of the Olivier Award winning Boy Blue Entertainment will also talk about their hip hop theatre company and their association with the Barbican Centre.

There will be live performances curated by Strictly Come Dancing Choreographer Richard Marcel and by Wayne Eagling, Artistic Director of English National Ballet. Audiences will be treated to a unique collaboration between English National Ballet and streetdance stars Flawless, in which the ten-strong Flawless crew and ten ballerinas from English National Ballet pit themselves against each other.

The Freestyle stage is the place to see up and coming dancers aiming to impress the audience – anyone can book a 3 minute dance slot, plug in their music and dance – and the Showcase Theatre is a new stage where you can catch performances from some of the best dance schools in the UK.

In addition to seminars on nutrition and advice on how to do a good audition there will be a wide selection of stands selling specialist dance wear and merchandise, many offering special discounts only available at the show.
