The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Beacons takes place on 4 June and will be the largest network of beacons the world has ever seen, with more than 4,000 beacons being lit from Canada to Scotland. The event culminates in London as the Queen lights the National Beacon in Buckingham Palace at 10.30pm. The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Beacons takes place on the first of two Bank Holidays to commemorate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
