One of the most iconic bands of the nineties is back to play two dates at the O2 Arena and LondonTown.com has suggestions on where to stay

-- /EPR NETWORK/ -- After splitting in 2005, much to the dismay of their huge fan base, Blink 182 are back and are taking on London's O2 Arena for two concerts this summer. Making a welcome return with new material and plenty of classics, Blink 182 is hitting the O2 Arena on 8 and 9 June.

Blink 182 was one of the biggest bands of the nineties with iconic, coming-of-age hits such as What's My Age Again and All The Small Things being the soundtrack to many people's teenage years. But with a new studio album Neighborhoods and a history of electric, tongue-in-cheek stage shows the band, which is Tom DeLonge, Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker, is sure to garner some new fans this time around.

The O2 Arena is located on the Greenwich Peninsula and is accessed via North Greenwich Tube or the A102. It can hold a massive 23,000 spectators and has already hosted world-renowned acts such as The Rolling Stones, The Killers and AC/DC.

As the concert will finish late, LondonTown.com suggests booking a night in a hotel in the area. To make this more affordable to Blink 182 fans it has discounted room rates at a number of hotels in London.

For fans looking to combine convenience with budget, LondonTown.com suggests the Radisson Blu Edwardian New Providence Wharf Hotel. This four-star hotel is located opposite the O2 Arena on the other side of the Thames , just a short bus or taxi ride away. Aside from providing a comfortable place to rest ones head after the concert, this hotel also has a spa and swimming pool. Through LondonTown.com this hotel is available for just £62 per room, per night including a massive discount of 88%.

Another similarly affordable alternative from LondonTown.com is the Holiday Inn Express London Greenwich. This three-star hotel is closer to the pretty ‘village' of Greenwich and its cafes, bars and restaurants. It costs just £57 per room, per night thanks to a 77% discount through LondonTown.com.
